Opened in 1998, ESI Texas is now a multidisciplinary regional office. The Texas office started when Roger Craddock opened the office in June 1998, and Fernando Lorenzo joining him shortly thereafter in July 1998. The composition of Texas Operations project assignments ranges from Major Property Insurance, mainly in cases involving fires and boiler and machinery, to small, medium and large and very large litigation support cases.
The ESI, Texas office can hold inspections in the main office building, as well as in the laboratory and storage facilities in Kingwood, a suburb of Houston located just 15 miles from the main office building. The facilities at the Texas office comprise general disassembly and a Stereo Microscope, and full electronic instrumentation, small hydrostatic testing, welding construction and in-situ fire testing. We have also developed arrangements with other vendors in the area that allows us to perform full size Fire and Pressure testing. Test and set ups to prove the validity of individual models and theories and be built to accommodate the necessities of specific clients.
We are active in cases including but not limited to: Refineries, Chemical Plants, Oil field Operations, Sugar Mills, Boilers and Power Boilers, Gas and Steam Turbines failures, Cogeneration, Diesel Power Generation, Marine Machinery, Oil and Gas Separation- Compression and Transmission, LNG plants, and Transmission Pipelines and Cement Plants.
